Join us for an evening of beautiful, colorful artworks by two fabulous female artists! Our show is one night February 9th from 5-9pm. We will have light refreshments available for our guests, and both artists will be offering art prizes for raffle!
About the artists:
Louise Hamel Coleman creates colorful, textured pieces, often inspired by nature! Her “art moniker”, Mediation Artifacts Studios, is a place where art, meditation, and humanity touch. It is within that space she lives, works, and explores in her new life. After recovering from a stroke and learning to live with chronic pain, Louise has embraced this path with an open heart.
Her work process embodies a sweet space—an intuitive path colored by visionary dreams. Usually, she begins by working on three pieces in one session. Then the microscopic differences between the pieces show themselves in the variance of colors and brush strokes. The artist’s subconscious mind leads this meditative ride; while her conscious mind watches patiently.
After studying sculpture, premed, and IT in college, Louise spent years working with artists in numerous capacities, from design to gallery management, patiently waiting for her time.
She has now found that humble path. This is her time to shine 🙂
Rachel Harvey grew up in New Hampshire and has resided in New Mexico for just over 2 years. Inspired by nature, Rachel loves to create images that can send you to a place of tranquility. Her realistic style provides simple and harmonious compositions rich with color or elegant black and whites. From botanicals to landscapes, Rachel creates a restful escape for your enjoyment.
